Over the course of several years, we have guided a patient with diffuse NW6 alopecia through three meticulously planned hair transplants, involving a total of 7960 grafts. This long-term medical journey is not only a physical endeavor but also a psychological one. Patients often need to plan for years and demonstrate considerable psychological resilience, as the treatment process can span three to four years and is fraught with emotional ups and downs. Patience and perseverance are required as the transplanted hairs gradually increase in thickness, contributing over time to the desired increase in volume and the illusion of density. In particular, our patient with blonde hair benefited from the low skin-hair contrast, which helped to effectively maximize the optical density. This challenging journey ultimately leads to an outcome that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also significantly boosts the patient’s self-confidence and profoundly transforms their quality of life.

The crown area transplantation represents one of the most challenging forms of hair restoration, as each individual hair has its own growth direction and inclination. Convincing results in this type of procedure are rarely found worldwide. In this case, two whirls were reconstructed, blending seamlessly into each other, a true masterpiece of hair transplantation. The goal was to seamlessly integrate the natural whirl channels into the existing hair. By precisely adjusting the growth direction, we were able to achieve an extremely natural result.
In total, over 2200 grafts were transplanted, with a focus on multiple grafts containing a high number of follicle units, including 3-hair, 4-hair, and 5-hair grafts. The extraction was extremely fine and gentle to avoid affecting the donor area. On average, over 6000 hairs were transplanted. Normally, such a case would require a second treatment to achieve further density. We have already considered this in the planning phase. However, the patient is so happy with the result that he has so far refrained from further treatment.

Very first case with 1600 Grafts
It is with great pleasure that we present a special milestone in the career of our founder: his very first case, which he conducted entirely on his own over a decade ago. This case might seem simple at first glance, but it presented complex challenges. He recalls investing around 30 treatment hours to restore a natural swirl at the hairline—a task made more difficult by the thickness of the hair and the extreme density behind the transplant area. Since that time, he has continuously refined his technique, becoming even gentler and faster. He is often asked how he manages to create such natural hairlines. The answer lies in the art of mimicking nature, combined with a deep understanding of individual anatomical features. His training as a draftsperson in civil engineering taught him to view each hair transplantation as a precise, microscopic construction project, planned and executed with artistic flair. Each of his hair transplants is shaped by the experiences he has gathered throughout his life. With each new treatment, all these insights are incorporated, so that each subsequent patient benefits from his ongoing learning process.
